Colombian engineer Mariana Pérez is Planeta Sostenible's Environmental Person of the Week.

Madrid, June 19 (EFEverde) – is the #EnvironmentalPerson of the Week in the new edition of EFEverde's Sustainable Planet . Pérez, one of the ten finalists in the European Patent Office (EPO) Young Inventors Awards, has proposed an innovative system of air purifiers specifically designed for factories. Her technology seeks to reduce industrial pollution and, ultimately, improve air quality everywhere on the planet.
