For years, dogs have been the undisputed protagonists of animal-assisted services (AAS), providing stress relief in universities, hospitals, and emotional care centers. However, a new study suggests that some cats may be ideally suited to this type of work, providing their soft purrs, tender head butts, and calm, comforting presence.
