Bourbon-Lancy. The time for grafts has returned

With the end of summer, it's time to prepare the garden for next season. With this in mind, on Saturday afternoon, Georges Héritier, a member of the association Les croqueurs de pommes (Apple Crockers), visited a resident's home on Rue Bellevue to demonstrate shield grafting. Three cherry varieties were grafted. Participants were also able to try their hand at grafting and benefit from valuable advice from their instructor. Summer and winter pruning demonstrations are being planned for September.
