Côte d'Or - Haute-Marne. What if you applied to the National Park's first documentary film festival?

"On Sunday, October 12, the Abreuvoir room in Salives will resonate with the wingbeats of winged travelers on their way to their winter quarters. On this World Migratory Bird Day, several films will be screened to follow the epic journey of these great explorers," the National Park explains in a press release. "It's a way to pay tribute to these forces of nature, who travel thousands of kilometers between Africa and Europe every year."
And to showcase them, the establishment is calling on the public. "Until August 15, for professional or amateur videographers who want to participate in the adventure, the call for films is online. We are looking for films of 30 minutes maximum, without conditions of date or nationality (but if not French-speaking, the French version must exist). The selection committee will be composed of the National Forest Park and the team of the Écrans de l'Aventure . One of the films screened will be awarded the National Park prize at the end of the screening and will be broadcast for a week on our social networks."
During the festival in the fall, a National Park Award will be presented to one of the selected films. "A roundtable discussion with experts will allow for further discussions on migratory birds, sharing knowledge about these species. Nature outings, a nighttime bivouac, a photo exhibition, a catering service, and a market with information stands and the sale of artisanal products will also be offered."
Registration form can be found on the National Forest Park website.
