Côte-d'Or. Twenty municipal agents are training to beautify our towns and villages.

Since multi-skilled agents in small rural communities carry out a multitude of tasks, including green space work, without having received specific training for this profession, Côte-d'Or Attractivité and the CNFPT (National Centre for Territorial Public Service ) have joined forces to set up comprehensive training in landscape development. A partnership initiated in 2002 , the terms of which have evolved over the years.
At the beginning, the scheme took place in five municipalities, then in just one and, finally, to meet demand, bring trainees closer to the training location and allow for reduced travel times, it was decided to offer two sites, one in the south of the department and the other further north.
