In Dijon, the Japanese garden located in Suzon Park is undergoing renovations. Under the direction of master gardener Masao Sone, originally from Kyoto, its surface area will nearly double to offer visitors a site faithful to the traditions of the Land of the Rising Sun.

Since the beginning of the week, municipal gardeners, supported by those from the French Japanese Garden Association, have been hard at work in the Suzon Park in Dijon. Their mission: to expand the Japanese garden to create a setting faithful to Japanese tradition. The project, which will be spread over three phases, plans to double the garden's surface area from 5,500 to nearly 10,000 m², with a total budget of €100,000.
