Fire in Aude: A9 still closed between Narbonne and Sigean

The violent fire that broke out Monday near Narbonne, in the Corbières massif, at a wine estate near the D613 road, ravaged more than 1,500 hectares of forest and vegetation. Throughout the night, 1,000 firefighters and 270 ground vehicles battled the blaze tirelessly. This morning, the wind picked up from the land towards the sea, a wind of great concern for firefighters, threatening to rekindle the spread of the flames.
