IMAGES | Granby Zoo welcomes two new residents

Two adorable new faces made their appearance on Friday at the Granby Zoo, to the delight of visitors.
Ruffed lemurs Ziggy and Ripley were finally able to enjoy their outdoor habitat after 90 days of quarantine. They explored it thoroughly and with great curiosity.
These new acquisitions are not a coincidence. They are part of the Granby Zoo's mission, which is committed to supporting endangered species.
"Ruffed lemurs are critically endangered in the wild! It is therefore important to take direct action in the environment, while maintaining healthy populations in zoological settings," reads a Facebook post from the Zoo.
These two new residents will meet another species of lemur, the ring-tailed lemur, before beginning to coexist with them.
