Jura. Coiselet Lake: 2025 is a no-go, how can we save the 2026 season?

Three solutions are being considered to secure the three rock slabs threatening to fall into Lake Coiselet. These include creating a barrier to hold back any potential rockfall, anchoring the dangerous blocks, or blasting them to remove them. The goal is for the work to be completed before summer 2026.

How can we prevent the three enormous rock slabs identified as potentially unstable from falling into Lake Coiselet? As a reminder, in the worst-case scenario, the flood wave that such a landslide would cause could destroy the dam, and even other structures on the Ain River.
