Jura: Photovoltaic installations on agricultural land: last days to express your views

Should the possibilities for photovoltaic installations be expanded to other agricultural land than just areas deemed uncultivated or unexploited since 2013, as is currently the case? The question is divisive. It is, in any case, open to all those who wish to express their views through an invitation to public participation. This is a prerequisite for the upcoming publication of the framework document defining the areas that can accommodate photovoltaic installations compatible with the exercise of an agricultural activity on land intended for natural, agricultural, and forestry use in the Jura department. The draft document in question has been available for consultation since Monday, July 7. The duration of this consultation is 21 days, and it will end this Monday, July 28, in the evening.
The documents are available on the website of the State services in the Jura department at the following address: https://www.jura.gouv.fr/Politiques-publiques/Environnement/Participation-et-consultation-du-public. It is possible to submit comments on this project electronically to the following address: [email protected], indicating the subject: "photovoltaic framework document".
A summary of the observations and proposals and the reasons for the decision will be published electronically at the end of this consultation, on the same departmental website of the State services, for 3 months.
