Lons-le-Saunier. “We process 25,000 tonnes of waste per year”: Demain Environnement has doubled its sorting capacity

In its misfortune, the Demain cooperative group, a specialist in the circular economy, was fortunate. Before a fire destroyed the building that housed its decontamination and treatment process for small household appliances and plastic waste in November 2023, it had launched a project to expand this activity.
A building had already been purchased, opposite its head office located on Rue Blaise-Pascal, in the industrial zone. This new processing unit has now been operating for a year under a special framework corresponding to the processing phase of the factory construction application submitted by the group.
