Lot-et-Garonne: 300 tonnes of waste go up in smoke

The fire broke out at the Paprec site in Damazan on the night of Tuesday 6 to Wednesday 7 May.
French leader in waste treatment, Paprec , was hit by a fire at its Damazan site on Wednesday, May 7, shortly before 4:45 a.m. 300 tons of paper and plastic went up in smoke inside a 1,100 square meter building.
The intervention of 12 firefighters, however, made it possible to extinguish the fire, preserve the building and avoid technical unemployment for the company's employees.
