Lyon Metropolitan Area: Cameras track fly-tipping in Vénissieux, fines ranging from €60 to €8,000

Bruno Bernard wants to make it known: the Lyon Metropolitan Area is fighting against bulky waste, and Vénissieux is one of its showcases. The Green president of the community met with his Communist vice-president and local mayor, Michèle Picard, on September 8 to present the initial results of video surveillance against fly-tipping, this "real problem that rightly exasperates our fellow citizens."
