Mably: Nearly 400 people signed the petition against the sorting center project.

Since Sunday, April 27, this petition from the Respec'TonMably collective against the Seedranova project has already gathered nearly 400 signatures. The company 3Wayste, which manages this future sorting center, is nevertheless reassuring.
The opposition group Respec'TonMably launched a petition this Sunday, April 27, against the proposed waste sorting center, called SEEDRANOVA.
With 380 signatures gathered four days after its publication (this Thursday morning), the collective maintains its firm opposition to the project, explaining that it risks "further worsening pollution, noise and odor nuisances, endangering our agricultural activities, our living environment and the health of all residents."
Estimated at 30 million euros, the project aims to reduce the quantity of waste sent to landfill in Cusset (Allier) by 72%.
Led by the Roannais Waste Study and Disposal Union (SEEDR), the project is currently in its public consultation phase. After the presentation of the project and an initial public meeting , the project has not received unanimous support. Residents living nearby are particularly concerned about fire risks and odors.
For its part, the company 3Wayste, which is leading the project, was keen to reassure opponents about all their concerns, citing its Polignac site (Haute-Loire) as an example, which, according to them, has proven itself. The public consultation is scheduled to run until July 4, with a meeting scheduled for June 23.
