There are campsites ideally located in the heart of cities: the one in Metz is one of them. It is stormed in summer when the weather is good, with many tourists stopping in this green space on the banks of the Moselle , near the Luxembourg Square.

While the people of Metz seem generally respectful in their waste management, "it can happen that holidaymakers let themselves go, especially some cross-border residents. But apart from a few exceptions, things go relatively well," confide Régis Marchal, manager of the Metz campsite, and Anthony Steffen, technical agent at the accommodation.
