Photos. Flowery Cities Competition: Serémange-Erzange Bets on Its Creativity

The municipality of Serémange-Erzange relies on the expertise and creativity of its technical staff to beautify public spaces. They have chosen to recycle materials in a spirit of sustainable development. "With a little wood, paint, and scrap metal found here and there, Daniel Muller has brought numerous eco-friendly decorations to life. He's a DIY enthusiast and an artist," emphasizes Frédéric Beck, head of green spaces. Daniel worked on a fountain project that now stands in front of the town hall. Other decorations can be seen in the town's living and passing areas. Ecological and economical, these homemade decorations made from recycled materials contributed to obtaining a second flower from the Villes et villages fleuris label. The regional jury came to evaluate the new projects created since 2024, the year of its last visit. The jury's decision is expected this fall.
