  • Equipped with gloves, garbage bags, and tongs for those who wished, the vast majority of volunteers boarded the Morond chairlift and took to the slopes. A few brave souls chose to climb on foot.
  • The meeting point was at 9 a.m. at the foot of the slopes. Participants were welcomed with breakfast.
  • Then they spread out near the tripods of their choice, marking out the trails they would be exploring. These trails were color-coded to assess their level of difficulty.
  • Préval Haut Doubs, along with the municipality and the Mountaine Riders association, was a partner in the operation. Pauline Prêtre, waste sorting and prevention advisor, was on hand to answer participants' questions about everyday waste sorting practices. Préval also provided the collection kits.

  • Participants were free to roam the area as they wished. The Mont d'Or joint association team estimates that around 60% of the area was covered as part of this operation.
  • Many participants combined business with pleasure, most of them being hiking enthusiasts. It must be said that from the heights of the estate, the view is worth the detour...
  • It is also an opportunity to admire nature at the resort, with the appearance of numerous blue gentians.
  • You had to sneak into the thickets to flush out the dirt.

  • Many came with family or friends.
  • Among the waste collected: numerous handkerchiefs, packaging, banana peels, etc.
