Photos. The harvest has begun in the vineyards of the city of Besançon.

The harvest has begun in Besançon, on the foothills of Fort Planoise. The 30-acre plot, composed of Trousseau, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay, was harvested by municipal employees. The fruit will then be sent to the Jura region, where a winemaker will be tasked with transforming the juice into wine. A few dozen bottles will then be donated to the city and served at ceremonies or drinks receptions organized by the municipality.
