After spending 25 years in the National Education system, Sabine Deryckère left her job as a teacher to pursue her passion: the nature that surrounds her. She paints, sculpts, draws, leads workshops, and for several years has been growing edible flowers that can be enjoyed at the bistro restaurant Ema in Deux-Grosnes.

Nestled at an altitude of over 700 meters, lies a true haven of peace, that of Sabine Deryckère and her partner Maurice. Since leaving the national education system five years ago, this fifty-year-old has multiplied her creative activities in the great outdoors, surrounded by her flowers and animals.
