Sacquenay: Possible water cut-off planned in the Haute Vingeanne valley

The mayor of Sacquenay, Jean-Noël Truchot, president of the Haute Vingeanne Intercommunal Sanitation and Drinking Water Syndicate (Siaep), issued a statement this Saturday, July 19, regarding a possible water outage during the night of Saturday, July 19, to Sunday, July 20. "Take precautions. Lightning struck the Percey-le-Petit pumping station, and the electrical system is out of service," Jean-Noël Truchot said. "SAUR is responding, but they don't know how long the repair will take. Currently, the supply is being ensured by the water towers, but there may be an outage overnight."
Users in the municipalities of Sacquenay, Chaume-et-Courchamp, Saint-Maurice-sur-Vingeanne, Montigny-Mornay-Villeneuve-sur-Vingeanne, Pouilly-sur-Vingeanne, Saint-Seine-sur-Vingeanne and Orain are affected, representing around 1,000 residents.
