Sainte-Odile Country. An action plan for the Krautergersheim catchment area to be discussed by winter

The Pays de Sainte-Odile region is responsible for the management and production of drinking water. However, to finance future projects on the network, the Rhine-Meuse Water Agency requires local authorities to commit to preserving the resource. This commitment was reaffirmed by the community of communes at its meeting on July 28.
The issue concerns the Krautergersheim catchment station (51% of the drinking water distributed in the area), classified as “sensitive” due to nitrate pollution that appeared in the 2000s.
