Tramayes. A short but dense hailstorm on Saturday evening

Despite the persistent heat, the scars of yesterday's hailstorm were still visible late Sunday morning, as evidenced by this pile of hailstones at Les Mazes, on the D22 road that connects Tramayes to Saint-Point. And the frogs that had been singing loudly in the nearby pond for several days have fallen silent.
