"A first rain and storm axis will affect Brittany and Normandy between Friday evening and Saturday morning," explains Météo-France.
"A second rain and thunderstorm axis will affect the Centre-East on Saturday" and "will last for much of the day." "The thunderstorms will be accompanied by heavy rainfall, gusts, hail, and significant electrical activity. The expected rainfall totals are in the order of 30 to 60 mm, very locally more, in fairly short periods of time (typically less than 3 hours)."
