Statkraft scraps biofuel venture

On Thursday, Statkraft’s staff were informs that the Norwegian utility’s demonstration plant for advanced biofuels at Tofte in Asker, Norway, will be shut down in November/December, reports business media Dagens Næringsliv. A dozen personnel will be retained to preserve the expertise they have built up in this area.
