Heavy rains and floods in India, water invades roads and houses: damage in 3300 villages

The number of victims has risen to 30 due to the rains and floods that have violently hit the northeast of India in the last 48 hours. The victims were recorded in the states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, as well as in Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura. The red alert issued by the authorities has been confirmed for the next few hours. As the rivers burst their banks, the Indian army rescued thousands of people in a massive operation in the state of Manipur, where nearly 3,300 villages have suffered extensive damage.
