2024 Budget Oscar Awards Ceremony

Registration is now open for the 61st edition of the Oscar di Bilancio , the most prestigious and authoritative Award on reporting, promoted by FERPI (Italian Public Relations Federation) together with Bocconi University and the Italian Stock Exchange . The innovations introduced in the new edition testify to the continuous evolution of the award, capable of reflecting socio-economic changes and intercepting the new needs of organizations.

“The title chosen for this year, TIME DOES NOT STOPS . Reporting in the transition ,” underlines Filippo Nani , President of FERPI, “intends to affirm, in a moment of uncertainty and regulatory review, the value of reporting as a strategic lever to increase internal awareness, monitor impacts, risks and opportunities and plan future objectives in line with the expectations of the main stakeholders: financial community, market, internal community and community”.

Among the main innovations of this edition, the introduction of a simple online survey , in collaboration with Ipsos, aimed at all candidate companies, those that will participate in the territorial stages of the national Roadshow and those adhering to the 15 Partner Associations.

“The initiative”, explains FERPI National Councillor Andrea Razeto , coordinator of the Award, “was created to collect perceptions, expectations and orientations on the implementation of the CSRD, on the impacts of the Omnibus Package and on the European initiative “Stop the Clock”, providing an updated snapshot of the level of awareness and preparation of the economic system with respect to the new reporting standards”.

A second important update concerns the entry among the Partner Associations of Assoholding , a point of reference for family and participation holdings, as well as for professional firms and consulting companies. For over 25 years, the Association has promoted innovative and regenerative development models, contributing to the diffusion of advanced practices in terms of governance and accountability, also in the world of corporate groups.

“Another important element”, says Cristiana Rogate , head of the Scientific Direction of the Oscar di Bilancio “is the choice to explicitly state the presence of the Universities within the category Public institutions, Universities and representative associations , to enhance the strategic role of the universities in this crucial moment for the construction of a new managerial culture oriented towards integrated thinking. The Universities are, in fact, protagonists in the development of increasingly solid skills to integrate sustainability in decision-making and operational processes. Furthermore, the reporting paths started by many universities could represent a first experience of active involvement of the new generations in the impact assessment, increasing co-responsibility and awareness of the students”.

The categories of the 2025 Financial Statement Oscar are : Large listed companies; Large unlisted companies; Listed and unlisted Utilities or Multi-utilities; Medium and small listed companies; Medium and small unlisted companies; Financial companies; Benefit Companies; Public institutions, Universities and Representative Associations; Social enterprises and non-profit organizations. The Special Awards, which have the role of intercepting and valorizing the most innovative, cutting-edge themes and emerging needs, here are those of the 61st edition: Sustainability Communication, Generation Z and the new Sustainability Reporting Award: towards the CSRD, designed to valorize companies that are distinguishing themselves in interpreting the new European regulatory phase with vision, concreteness and timeliness and reward early adopters.

Registrations for the 61st edition will remain open until October 20, 2025. The Award Ceremony will be held again this year at Palazzo Mezzanotte on December 9, 2025. To submit your application: https://www.ferpi.it/oscar-di-bilancio/come-partecipare
