Chile, Maximiliano Bello, Gonzalo Muñoz, and Julieta Martínez among the eight Chileans on the list of 100 Latinos for the Climate

From Chile, the list of the 100 Latinos most committed to climate action in 2025 recognizes the climate leadership of Gonzalo Muñoz , UN High-Level Champion for COP25, and Marcelo Mena , CEO of Global Methane Hub.
Also featured are Catalina Santelices Brunel , co-founder of Latinas por el Clima ; María Teresa Ruiz-Tagle , executive director of CLG-Chile; and Giuliana Furlan , director of the Fungi Foundation. The Chilean representation is completed by Julieta Martínez , founder of Tremendas; Maximiliano Bello , ocean policy advisor; and Antonieta Cádiz , executive director of Climate Power en Acción.
Scientists, activists, artists, politicians, and communicators make up the list of the "One Hundred Latinos for the Climate" 2025, promoted by the NGO Sachamama with support from EFE , a network of Hispanic and Latin American leaders committed to climate action, environmental justice, and ecological transition .
This initiative recognizes individuals from diverse backgrounds who contribute to the defense of the planet and sustainability from their countries of origin or residence.
These are the 100 Latinos of 2025 who are driving global climate action in a time of misinformation.
