From farm to table: the flavors of organic farming come to Alcobendas

Alcobendas (EFEverde).– Farmers, organic artisans, and lovers of conscious consumption will gather this Saturday, May 31 , at the eighth edition of the Espacio Orgánico Alcobendas organic producers market , which will take place in front of its establishment in the Río Norte shopping park.

During the event, visitors will be able to taste and purchase local and sustainable products directly from the people who grow and produce them. They will also have the opportunity to learn about the processes and values ​​behind each project in a festive atmosphere that includes musical performances and cuisine prepared with organic ingredients.

Among the participants will be Sierra Ecofoods (granolas), Ecos del Lozoya (fruits and vegetables), Pedaque (eggs), Perseus (avocado oil), Vitae Kombucha , Gabarrera (craft beers), Onyar (pizzas), Quesos Cerrón (dairy products), Biobardales (cold cuts) and Ecohorno (organic bread).

Organic farmers

Organic producers are usually small farmers and ranchers who work in rural areas and are familiar with the organic world.

On May 31st, the event will unveil the values ​​of each project working with Espacio Orgánico. This will establish a dialogue between farmers and customers, allowing those who attend to learn the story of each product.

“For many people, ecology is just words; for us, it's actions; we truly believe it, and the Farmers Market confirms it,” says Nacho López , manager of Espacio Orgánico.

Additionally, those who attend will be able to taste each company's products and purchase them at the Espacio Orgánico Alcobendas store. This event will also include performances by Duck and Jazz singer Andrea Blues, who will perform various songs.

At the end, anyone who wishes can visit the Eco restaurant and try dishes made with ingredients offered by organic producers, along with a menu prepared by chef David Ariza. EFEverde
