The circular economy takes center stage at the Madrid Book Fair with a dialogue on sustainability.

Madrid, June 3 (EFEverde).– The role of the circular economy as a driver of transformation toward a more sustainable and humane economic model will be the focus of the debate that will be held this Tuesday, June 10, at the Madrid Book Fair, where the book 'Change the economy and change the world. Society and the circular State at the end of the era of abundance' by European climate pact ambassador Luis Lehmann will be presented.

Under the title "Readings on the Circular Economy: The Transformation of the Environmentally Friendly Economic Model," the event will bring together several experts who will reflect on how knowledge, reading, and the design of new business models can drive the ecological transition.

Speakers include Nicola Cerantola , an Italian-Spanish expert in circular design and entrepreneurship and author of "Circular Business Models" ; Luis Lehmann , an Argentine-German specialist in the circular economy and ambassador for the European Climate Pact, author of "Change the Economy and You Will Change the World" ; and Cristina Aparicio Maeztu , Director General of Circular Economy and Energy Efficiency for the Community of Madrid.

Lehmann explained to EFEverde that his book "proposes a transition toward a circular economy as a necessary turning point for moving toward a more sustainable, human-centered future. Therefore, change the economy and you will change the world."

The meeting will be moderated by Alberto Casillas Paz , director of RETEMA magazine, and has the institutional support of the Community of Madrid .

The event will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Community of Madrid Pavilion , located at booth 180 in El Retiro Park, and is shaping up to be a unique opportunity to bring the concepts of the circular economy closer to the general public through reading and discussion. EFEverde
