The court has decided in the case of a former member of the Orlen management board

As Orlen announced, on July 24, 2025, the District Court in Łódź, 10th Commercial Division, dismissed in its entirety the claim of the company's shareholder for declaring invalid or repealing resolution No. 21 adopted by the Annual General Meeting on June 25, 2024 on the discharge of Mr. Robert Perkowski, a member of the company's management board, for the performance of his duties in 2023.

Daniel Obajtek and the former Orlen management board still without dischargeLet us recall that on June 25, 2024, the Orlen Annual General Meeting did not grant discharge to the company's former president, Daniel Obajtek, and former members of the management board headed by him.
The following persons ultimately did not receive a discharge: Daniel Obajtek, who was the CEO of Orlen from February 2018 to February 2024, and the members of the management board headed by him, apart from Węgrecki: Armen Artwich, Adam Burak, Patrycja Klarecka, Michał R. (detained by the Internal Security Agency in connection with the investigation into Orlen Trading Switzerland GmbH), Jan Szewczak and Piotr Sabat, as well as Krzysztof Nowicki, Iwona Waksmundzka-Olejniczak and Robert Perkowski.
In August 2024, Orlen informed about the filing of lawsuits by the company's shareholders for the annulment or repeal of resolutions on the discharge for the performance of duties in 2023 with respect to: Armen Konrad Artwich, Patrycja Klarecka, Michał Róg, Jan Szewczak, Józef Węgrecki, Piotr Sabat, Krzysztof Nowicki, Robert Perkowski, Andrzej Szumański, Michał Klimaszewski.
