(Çoruh EDAŞ) reported that it continues its maintenance and renovation activities to ensure uninterrupted and safe power supply to subscribers in the provinces of Trabzon, Rize, Giresun, Artvin, and Gümüşhane, which fall under its jurisdiction, particularly during summer and peak consumption periods. The company emphasized that these efforts increase energy supply security and prevent potential malfunctions by detecting them in advance. Emphasizing the importance of individual precautions, the company emphasized that unauthorized interventions and reckless use can pose societal risks beyond individual harm.

The statement emphasized that electrical installations carry high voltage, stating, "Approaching, climbing, or attempting to interfere with these structures can lead to serious injuries and loss of life. These interventions can also cause regional outages and significant financial losses." Simple mistakes can lead to big risks

ÇORUH EDAŞ stated that many citizens lose their lives or are injured every year across the country due to unauthorized and unconscious interventions, and listed some of the incidents as follows:

-Fishermen whose fishing rods come into contact with high voltage lines,

-Accidents that occur during unauthorized street light repair attempts,

-Deaths caused by construction iron coming into contact with overhead lines,

-Electric shocks resulting from the concrete pump approaching the power line,

-Accidents experienced by people who come into contact with the conductor during roof work.

ÇORUH EDAŞ, which calls on all citizens to be more aware of electricity, to report any dangerous situations they see around them without delay, and to always comply with safety rules, made the following reminders regarding safe electricity use:
