Enerjisa Energy's Distribution Companies Continue Their Field Training

Enerjisa Enerji, which places sustainability at the center of its strategy and invests in Turkey's electricity infrastructure with a focus on people and technology, develops projects. Its distribution companies, Başkent EDAŞ, Ayedaş, and Toroslar EDAŞ, continue to provide uninterrupted training to students and teachers studying electrical and electronics as part of their vocational training activities for a better future in the 14 provinces where it provides distribution services. The project, which aims to contribute to Turkey's employment and productivity and has been carried out with great dedication since 2018, has provided training to nearly 14,000 students and teachers in the field.Creating projects to contribute to a smarter and greener world with a focus on people and technology. Başkent EDAŞ, Ayedaş, and Toroslar EDAŞ have been continuing their vocational training activities in the 14 provinces where they provide electricity distribution services, in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education since 2018. The Mobile Training Center Project, implemented to contribute to the country's productivity and employment, introduces engineers, technicians, and prospective technicians to the electricity distribution sector and supports their development.
With the support of Enerjisa distribution companies, the project, which has been ongoing since 2018 in Istanbul, Hatay, Mersin, Adana, Gaziantep, Osmaniye, Zonguldak, Ankara, Bartın, Karabük, Çankırı, Kastamonu, and Kırıkkale, provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of the energy journey, from the beginning of electricity distribution companies' responsibilities to its delivery to consumers' homes. The training also includes occupational health and safety training, a key topic in the electricity distribution sector.
Nearly 4,300 people were trained in the 2024-2025 academic year.A first in the industry, the project, designed to support young people's career development, provided training opportunities for nearly 4,300 students and field teachers in the 2024-2025 academic year. Continuing its work with the mission of building a better future, the company has been working tirelessly on the ground since the project's inception to introduce young people to the electricity distribution sector, increase employment, and guide young people considering a career in the sector.

Emphasizing the importance of a trained workforce for Turkey's full energy independence , Enerjisa Distribution Companies General Manager Oğuzhan Özsürekci said, “Our Mobile Training Center, a first in Turkey, continues its operations in the field with all its equipment. With the contributions of our Technical Development teams, we are practically imparting the working principles of the distribution sector to the young people who will shape the future of our sector. In this way, we introduce young people to our sector and aim to contribute to our country's productivity and employment. In line with this vision, the protocol we signed with the Ministry of National Education in 2018 was a significant step towards creating a qualified workforce. Thanks to this project, implemented in collaboration with the public and private sectors, we have provided comprehensive training to nearly 14,000 students and teachers in this field to date. We recognize the importance of the role of new generations in the independent energy journey. To this end, we are proud and happy to be a part of these training programs that contribute to their development and shed light on the future. We will continue to be in the field and train young people during the 2025-2026 academic year .”
