New era in VAP support: Early payment advantage

A critical step was taken in the implementation principles of the “Efficiency Increasing Project (VAP) Support Program”, which entered into force with the Ministry’s Official Approval dated June 5, 2025 (numbered 332 779). The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources will provide up to half of the projected support for eligible projects with the opportunity for advance payment.

THE AMOUNT OF MY EARLY PAYMENT WILL INCREASE UP TO 50%

Projects that successfully pass the ministry review will be able to receive up to half of the total grant amount in advance. This “early payment” option aims to ease the initial financing burden of projects.

APPLICATION PERIOD IS ONLY 3 MONTHS

Project owners will be able to request early payment only once within 3 months from the start date. Applications will be sent to the Energy Efficiency and Environment Department via [email protected] KEP address.

GUARANTEE CONDITION: 25% ADDITIONAL GUARANTEE

Organizations wishing to benefit from the advance payment must provide a letter of guarantee equal to 25% more than the amount requested. The letter must be valid for at least one year after the completion of the project.

ONE TIME OPPORTUNITY

This opportunity can only be used once for each project. In this way, the aim is to operate the support mechanism quickly and effectively.
