Powers Joined for the Future at Antalya Energy Meetings

Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ATSO) and CK Energy Akdeniz Elektrik hosted the “Antalya Energy Meetings ” to discuss the city’s energy transformation and produce solutions. Many important topics such as reducing carbon emissions , renewable energy solutions , smart grids and sustainability data were discussed at the event.

More than 100 sector representatives attended the “Antalya Energy Meetings ” held at the ATSO Conference Hall . Topics such as the future of the electricity market, electric vehicle charging systems , distributed generation models , reducing the carbon footprint and SKDM (Border Carbon Adjustment Mechanism) were detailed with presentations by expert speakers.

Making the opening speech of the event, ATSO Board Chairman Yusuf Hacısüleyman stated that geopolitical uncertainties experienced around the world increased energy costs. Hacısüleyman made the following statements:

“Energy costs are a serious burden on both the industry and service sectors. Turkey’s global competitiveness is directly affected by these increases. In addition, carbon emission reduction targets and climate agreements require us to transform production methods. Turkey also needs to adapt to SKDM processes quickly.”

CK Energy Mediterranean Electricity General Manager Fahrettin Tunç emphasized that energy is not just a resource, but the fundamental dynamic of economic growth. “We must act together for clean, fair and accessible energy ,” said Tunç, adding that they have developed regional strategies in energy transformation and are leading this process.

CK Energy Commercial Sales and Business Development Group Director Çağdaş Acar stated that the company focuses on environmentally friendly investments with the slogan “ There is No Other World ”. The highlights from Acar’s statements are:

Infrastructure investments for renewable energy sources such as solar, wind and hydroelectric power plants have increased.
Consultancy is provided to companies for carbon footprint measurement and emission reduction.
Electric vehicle charging infrastructure is being developed with the Beefull brand .
CK Energy aims to be not only an electricity provider but also a guide for sustainable transformation .
