TEİAŞ: No connection capacity for unlicensed power in July

Energy Diary - Turkish Electricity Transmission Inc. ( TEİAŞ ) released a statement regarding the updated remaining capacities at the distribution voltage level, as revised within the system conditions under the Regulation on Unlicensed Electricity Generation in the Electricity Market, and unlicensed applications made at the transmission voltage level. In the statement, within the scope of the decision taken by the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority, the "Unlicensed Generation Capacity Table Allocated from the Distribution Level on a Transformer Substation Basis" and the "Transmission Level Remaining Capacity Table" for July 2025 were published.
Accordingly, it was noted that there was no remaining capacity for a total of nine applications from eight provinces at the transmission voltage level between July 1, 2025, and July 31, 2025. Similarly, it was announced that there was no remaining current unlicensed generation capacity available for allocation at the distribution level on a transformer center basis.
ALL 9 APPLICATIONS WERE NOT CONSIDERED
TEİAŞ, which evaluated nine applications for the connection of unlicensed electricity facilities to the transmission system in July 2025, announced that none of these applications were considered for documentation and technical evaluation due to regional capacity constraints. The capacity allocation applications came from the provinces of Uşak, Karaman, Konya, Mersin, Kastamonu, Hatay, Burdur, and Bursa.
