Energy Diary - The number of electric vehicle charging points (sockets) increased by 2.7 percent in April compared to the previous month, reaching 29,496.

According to the "Charging Service Market Monthly Statistics" report of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority ( EPDK ) for April, the total number of charging points (sockets) increased by 2.7 percent compared to the previous month, reaching 29,496 in April 2025.

Of the total number of electric vehicle charging sockets, 17,231 are AC charging sockets and 12,265 are DC charging sockets.

LEADING COMPANIES IN NUMBER OF SOCKETS

When looking at the number of sockets of charging network operator license holders, the company with the highest number of sockets was ZES by far with 4,398 sockets (including AC and DC). Eşarj followed with 2,165 sockets and Trugo with 1,941 sockets. When we look at the DC socket ranking, Eşarj is in first place, Trugo is in second place and ZES is in third place.

NUMBER OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES INCREASED BY 5 PERCENT

As of the end of April, the total number of electric vehicles in Türkiye reached 231,474. In April, the number of electric vehicles increased by 5 percent compared to the previous month.
