Green Power Denmark on new steel tariffs: US consumers end up with the bill

“It certainly means that all projects built in the US will be more expensive. It hits consumers directly, and that impact is undoubtedly coming now,” Jan Hylleberg, deputy CEO of the industry association Green Power Denmark, tells EnergyWatch. He says this after US President Donald Trump has once again raised tariffs from 25% to 50% on steel imported to the US.
