Greenzo bags Jindal Stainless order for 472-tonne green hydrogen plant in Odisha


The project, to be delivered within six months of contract signing, will initially produce 0.47 kilo tonnes per annum (KTPA) of green hydrogen annually and can be scaled up to 1.5 KTPA, the company said in a statement. The hydrogen will be used in stainless steel production processes.
Greenzo will supply the electrolyser system along with balance of plant equipment, erection, installation and commissioning. It will also provide 30 days of on-site training and 11 months of virtual support to JSL’s technical team.“The trust shown by Jindal Stainless further reinforces Greenzo’s position as a leading homegrown hydrogen technology partner,” said Sandeep Agarwal, Managing Director, Greenzo Energy India.The electrolyser will be equipped with SCADA and AI-based automation for real-time optimisation and predictive diagnostics, the company said.Greenzo said the collaboration strengthens its hydrogen technology portfolio while supporting JSL’s efforts to decarbonise stainless steel production in line with India’s net-zero targets.
