Ørsted's last PtX project lives on

Starting this year, Danish utility Ørsted would have delivered 300,000 tons of e-methanol to compatriot shipping giant Maersk from a large-scale plant on the southern coast of the US. The so-called Star E-methanol, launched in 2022. While there are still a few months to go before 2025, that won’t be the case.
