Voltage Energy supplies cabling for solar park

Once operational, the Belectric project is expected to generate approximately 105 gigawatt hours of clean electricity annually. The power plant consists of three sites, two of which have already been connected to the grid. Currently, the final 15 megawatts are nearing completion on a site of approximately ten hectares.
Georg Urban from Voltage: “Wiring solar parks faster and more safely”
Prefabricated cable harnesses from Voltage Energy are used for a good third of the solar output. They ensure safe, efficient, and long-lasting power transmission from the module strings to the inverters.
For Voltage, this marks its entry into the European market. "In the future, we primarily want to supply large-scale projects of 100 megawatts and above," says Andreas Thissen, who heads European sales at Voltage Energy. The Ibex solution used in the project is quick to install, highly weather-resistant, and offers optimal efficiency under demanding conditions.

The cable harnesses are delivered to the construction site fully pre-assembled. They are tested according to international standards and reduce the risk of installation errors and poor connections, which often occur with conventional cabling.
Kalbe installed for 40 gigawatts of solar power
Since its founding in 2015, Voltage Energy (headquartered in Chapel Hill, North Carolina) has delivered more than 40 gigawatts of cable solutions to customers in the USA. The company began expanding into Europe with the opening of its Frankfurt office in 2024. Since then, the company has continuously expanded its capacity. (HS)
