APIA, ORIVA, and EFE announce a new edition of their environmental journalism scholarship.

The EFE Agency, through its School of Journalism, APIA (Association of Environmental Journalists), and ORIVA (Olive Pomace Oil Interprofessional Association), are offering a practical training program for university students in Environmental Journalism.

Students in the final years of a degree in Journalism and/or Audiovisual Communication who have earned 50% of the credits for their degree, or students pursuing a postgraduate degree in the subject at a university in the Community of Madrid, are eligible for this scholarship.

The scholarship will last six months and will be awarded a gross monthly salary of 600 euros.

The selected student will join the scholarship program on July 14, 2025.

During this time, the intern will remain in the EFE Verde editorial office at EFE headquarters in Madrid, and their work will be directed and supervised by an EFE professional.

The application period for this scholarship is open until July 9, 2025.
