Rewilding: a commitment to life.

To avoid the use of foreign words, which are used to refer to the protection and restoration of the environment through the reintroduction of plants or animals that already lived there, for example, it is possible to use resilvestración instead.

It is a noun derived from the verb resilvestrar, created in turn from the prefix re- and the adjective silvestre, which applies to a 'plant raised naturally and without cultivation' or a 'non-domesticated animal'.

It is also possible to opt for renaturalization, rewilding or, based on the term "asilvestrar", for rewilding and rewilding, although in specialized texts the term "resilvestración" is more common.
