"Those of the Earth": the State launches a podcast on women in agriculture in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes prefecture is launching eight podcasts dedicated to women in the agricultural sector to promote their contribution in a field that is still largely male-dominated.
The podcast "Celles de la Terre," produced by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes prefecture, features eight profiles of women working in agriculture. This series aims to highlight the diversity of career paths in a sector where women represented only 28% of the permanent workforce in 2020.
According to the government, the initiative aims to " break down preconceived notions about the place of women " in these traditionally male-dominated professions. The project is the result of a collaboration between the Regional Directorate for Food, Agriculture and Forestry, the National Association for Employment and Training in Agriculture, and France Travail.
Episodes are available on Spotify, Apple Podcast, Deezer and Audioblog.
