The Ambition France Transports funding conference was launched in Marseille on Monday, May 5, in the presence of Prime Minister François Bayrou and Transport Minister Philippe Tabarot. Olga Givernet, a member of parliament for Ain and a former minister in the Barnier government, is part of this discussion as co-leader of the “Rail Infrastructure and Passenger Services” workshop.
Ambition France Transports will extend over ten weeks in order to exchange and reflect on the networking of the territory via four workshops, each bringing together around ten experts (user associations, elected officials, employer organizations, etc.).
All will be considering various ways to finance large-scale mobility projects. In February, the Ain-Den-Bessin MP was tasked with a fact-finding mission on the role of rail transport in opening up regions within the National Assembly's Sustainable Development and Regional Planning Committee.
