The Land Heritage Defense Association (ADPF), with 67 members and behind the creation of the national collective of "PLUmés" which denounces retro-zoning under the ZAN law, cannot find a room to meet.

The Land Heritage Defense Association (ADPF) doesn't have only supporters. In fact, it's quite the opposite in Mézériat, where it was founded by Ascensio Garcia and where its headquarters are located. It's definitely not good to be a prophet in your own country...

On at least two occasions, the municipality refused to provide the association with a room for its meetings. In July 2024, the association's appeal was dismissed by the Lyon Administrative Court, which filed an interim relief application challenging the refusal to provide a room for one of its meetings. The association then met hastily in the open air, with each participant taking care to bring their own chair...

Last September, it was the president of the ADPF , Mr. Ascensio Garcia, who was summoned to the Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne gendarmerie, seized by the mayor of Mézériat, Mr. Guy Dupuit, for "threats, violence or acts of intimidation towards an elected official [...] to influence an authority to obtain a favorable decision." The case was finally closed without further action by the public prosecutor on March 25, "the facts could not be clearly established by the investigation to constitute the offense and initiate criminal proceedings."

This Monday, May 12th, the ADPF was once again "banned from the town hall" in Mézériat, but was still able to meet. But this time, for lack of anything better, at the home of its president. This led to a new complaint being filed with the gendarmerie...
