Besançon. After tap water, bottles: what this new study reveals about PFAS, the eternal pollutants

After conducting a study on tap water in and around Besançon, Grégorio Crini, a chemist at the Chrono-environnement laboratory, reveals the next steps in this Franco-Italian-Romanian research project, which also includes bottled water. 48 bottles from 11 French brands, representing 90% of the market, were analyzed.

The results of his study on tap water in and around Besançon , highlighting the presence of PFAS, particularly TFA, had seriously raised eyebrows. Besançon-based chemist Grégorio Crini is persevering, presenting a second, complementary study on bottled water.

This, like the previous one, is part of "a Franco-Italian-Romanian partnership called Waterex 2024-2027"...
