“Lyon reminds me of my youth. I haven't been back there much since. I came recently, at the time of the terrible floods south of Lyon in October 2024. It had a big impact on me. It's a real risk, that of increasingly intense rainfall. This calls into question certain developments. Lyon also reminds me of a fragility in the face of heat waves. In France, when we talk about this, we think of three cities: Grenoble, Toulouse, and Lyon. The continental climate and the geographical particularities mean that this phenomenon is concentrated there. Increased by the fact that this city is quite mineral in its center, with heat islands.”
