Could Firminy station become the focal point of this new mobility? Located just a few hundred meters from the planned start of the greenway, it would allow travelers to easily combine bicycle and train travel.

In concrete terms, a resident of Dunières, Saint-Didier-en-Velay, or Pont-Salomon could reach Firminy by pedaling, leave their bike in a secure area, and then board a train to reach Saint-Étienne or Lyon. That's the idea.
