Loire and Haute-Loire. Weather: Enjoy the sun this Friday, things are getting spectacularly worse this weekend.

Bermuda shorts, summer dresses and sunglasses will still be in fashion this Friday, as they have been since Tuesday, with generous sunshine in the two departments of Loire and Haute-Loire.

Although records have not been broken in recent days, temperatures were well above seasonal norms, with morning lows of 8 to 11°C and daytime highs of between 22 and 26°C.

MétéoNews readings showed temperatures above 26°C in the Roanne region, above 25°C around Saint-Etienne, and above 20°C in Yssingeaux, in Haute-Loire. Like a disturbing summer before its time, which doesn't seem entirely exceptional.

This Friday, May 2nd, the spring-like summer is expected to continue, as the situation is expected to resemble that of the 1st. With sunshine barely veiled by a few clouds and temperatures reaching 20°C by late morning in the Loire and Haute-Loire.

In the afternoon, clouds will begin to increase and it will even be overcast in places. But "without any impact on the mercury," points out the Météo42 website, which will still show very high maximum temperatures for the season with an average of 26°C in the Loire (more than 27°C in the Roannais itself) and more than 20°C in Haute-Loire (more than 23°C even in Monistrol-sur-Loire).

However, in the evening, clouds will cover the entire two departments, heralding a deterioration in the weekend, even if temperatures remain at a high level, well above seasonal norms, around 15°C.

The summery feeling will nevertheless continue on Saturday morning with plenty of sunshine, both in the Loire and Haute-Loire, forecasts Météo France, with average temperatures around 20°C.

But in the afternoon, the atmosphere will become heavy and electric, with the sky beginning to cloud over. The first signs of thunderstorms are even forecast for the afternoon in both departments, most often accompanied by periods of precipitation.

On Sunday, it's time to put away your summer clothes and bring out your sweaters and raincoats. The weather will take a dramatic turn, according to Météo France forecasts. The stormy episode will reach its peak and last all day. The showers will intensify.

And temperatures will drop, dropping nearly 10 degrees. It will be only 17°C on average in the Loire and 15°C in the Haute-Loire, much more in line with the season.

On Monday, this drop in temperatures is expected to continue (12-13°C in the Loire and 9-11°C in Haute-Loire), this time below normal, with very gray weather marked by numerous showers. This gloomy and rainy weather could well continue for a good part of the week.
