Meuse: Nuclear waste in Bure, opposition rooted in legality

Does the capture of the Lejuc woods ring a bell? The days when opponents of Cigéo, the future national nuclear waste disposal center, set up their Zone à Défense there seem a long time ago . Seven years after their evacuation, the woods, which were supposed to be cut down, are still standing. But they are the property of Andra (National Agency for Nuclear Waste Management) and access is off-limits. The resistance, however, has not deserted the area. Far from it. They are occupying it differently. This time, completely legally.
